May 8th 1998: This mixture of live-action, computer and almost every other kind of special effects follows what happens when a boy's toy soldiers come to life. The Gorgonites, a small but intrepid band of monstrous-looking creatures, end up battling the war-loving Commando Elite, led by Major Chip Hazard (voiced by Tommy Lee Jones). Director Dante (Gremlins) has a way with nasty little creatures.

February 1998: Famous composer Jerry Goldsmith ("Air Force One") will handle the musical score for this upcoming part-animated, part-real film.
