Yet its corridors are packed with the future of America - loners, leaders, hipsters, nerds, brains and jocks. Like teenagers everywhere, they struggle with parents who don't get it, teachers who never had it and hormones that won't quit. But the students at Herrington High face a greater challenge - saving the world from alien domination.
Movie News & Rumours: October 17th 1998: Miramax's Dimension Films banner will spend a record $30 million to release the sci-fi thriller "The Faculty" this Christmas. "The Faculty," which goes wide on more than 3,000 screens on Dec. 25, marks the first collaboration between Kevin Williamson ("Scream 1-2"), and Robert Rodriguez ("From Dusk Till Dawn," "Desperado.") April 23rd 1998: Salma Hayek ("Desperado"), Harry Knowles and Bebe Neuwirth ("Cheers") have joined the cast of the untitled "sci-fi alien" film being directed by Robert Rodriguez. Elijah Wood, Robert Patrick, Clea Duvall, Shawn Hatosy and Josh Hartnett have already signed on for the Dimension Films project, which is scheduled for a Dec. 25 release. Rodriguez ("From Dusk Till Dawn") will direct from a script by Kevin Williamson ("Scream"). March 20th 1998: Robert Patrick and Elijah Wood have joined the ensemble cast of Dimension Films' untitled sci-fi alien project boasting the intriguing combination of "Scream" writer Kevin Williamson and "From Dusk 'Till Dawn" director Robert Rodriguez.
