October 17th 1998: Miramax's Dimension Films banner will spend a record $30 million to release the sci-fi thriller "The Faculty" this Christmas. "The Faculty," which goes wide on more than 3,000 screens on Dec. 25, marks the first collaboration between Kevin Williamson ("Scream 1-2"), and Robert Rodriguez ("From Dusk Till Dawn," "Desperado.") July 7th 1998: Created this page today. There's not much info to find about this movie yet, but it seems like an interesting horror film, with lots of stars and a supposedly great script.

April 23rd 1998: Salma Hayek ("Desperado"), Harry Knowles and Bebe Neuwirth ("Cheers") have joined the cast of the untitled "sci-fi alien" film being directed by Robert Rodriguez. Elijah Wood, Robert Patrick, Clea Duvall, Shawn Hatosy and Josh Hartnett have already signed on for the Dimension Films project, which is scheduled for a Dec. 25 release. Rodriguez ("From Dusk Till Dawn") will direct from a script by Kevin Williamson ("Scream").

March 20th 1998: Robert Patrick and Elijah Wood have joined the ensemble cast of Dimension Films' untitled sci-fi alien project boasting the intriguing combination of "Scream" writer Kevin Williamson and "From Dusk 'Till Dawn" director Robert Rodriguez. The Miramax genre division is positioning the pic - currently referred to as the "Untitled Rodriguez/Williamson Project" - for a Christmas day release.
