The Earth is running out resources and a family, the Robinsons', is selected to find another planet to colonize. Onboard the ship is the bad guy, agent Dr. Smith who sabotages the whole mission. The ship makes a hyper-space jump and now no one knows where they are. The people on 'Jupiter 2' must figure out a way to get back home, because they are now all lost in the big space.
