Storyline:

PREY FOR ROCK AND ROLL is the saga of an all-girl rock band starring Gina Gershon in an electrifying performance. The film premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and also screened at the 2^nd annual Tribeca Film Festival.

The film is the adrenaline-filled story of a contemporary LA all-girl rock band led by singer/guitarist Jacki (Gershon), bassist Tracy (The Sopranos’ Drea De Matteo), lead guitarist Faith (Lori Petty), and drummer Sally (Shelly Cole) and also stars Marc Blucas and Ivan Martin. The directorial debut of esteemed music supervisor/producer Alex Steyermark, the film captures the color and energy of a veteran band struggling to make it while personal obstacles and disturbing new events threaten to tear them apart.

Based on rocker Cheri Lovedog’s autobiographical rock musical, PREY FOR ROCK AND ROLL is a riveting and authentic portrait of the rock and roll lifestyle. Gershon, who stars in the film, also produced the picture and sings all of her vocals live in the film.
