True Lies 2 / Avatar: Lightstorm's Rae Sanchini recently talked to Deadline Hollywood, and said that James Cameron is not likely to write the script or helm 'True Lies 2.' "He will not direct this. Sanchini did reveal that the project is still in "very active development," adding that scribe Jeff Eastin is now writing the script. When asked about Avatar, Sanchini revealed, "[Avatar is] no more. It is in a state of definite abandonment." Thanks to Cinescape.

Ocean's 11: Bruce Willis is now officially in talks to join "Ocean's 11," a remake of the 1960 Rat Pack vehicle, which has George Clooney in the role previous occupied by Frank Sinatra. Pitch Black II: USA Films are eager to come up with a sequel, producer Tom Engelman told Sci Fi Wire. "We are obviously going to emphasize the character of Riddick and his further adventures as one of the great anti-heroes to come along in a long time," Engelman said. But the sequel will take off in a new direction. "It will not be a return to the planet [of the first movie], with the same animals. It will be an entirely different story, with a different setting and different set of characters." Full Story >>>

"It was pretty good, a lot better than the second one," O'Barr said. "It had the potential to be really good. It was different; it wasn't a repetition of the first one." The film has been completed for some time, but is still waiting for an official release date from Dimension Films. "Last I heard, they're hoping to release it in September," O'Barr said. "It's been ready to go. They just need a time spot. They're releasing it in Europe on the 28th."
