Practical Magic - Variety reports that Lucinda Jenney ("Mad City") has signed on for Warner Bros.' "Practical Magic," joining a cast that includes Aidan Quinn, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest. The pic, directed by Griffin Dunne, is a supernatural comedy written by Robin Swicord and based on a novel by Alice Hoffman. It's currently shooting in Los Angeles and in the San Juan Islands.
Species II - The Official Site has released an interesting Behind The Scenes clip from this upcoming sci-fi/horror flick. Check it out!
Movies - Twentieth Century Fox is taking the "Bulworth" by the horns and releasing Warren Beatty's pic opposite Sony's "Godzilla." The date set is May 22. Asked his opinion of the David vs. Goliath decision by the studio, Beatty told me, "I'm stunned," then added, "I'm surprised about their (20th's) bullishness. I took it as a compliment."
Halloween: H20 - TV actors Michelle Williams (Dawson Creek), Joseph Gordon Levitt (3rd Rock From the Sun) and Josh Hartnett (Cracker) will join Jamie Lee Curtis and Charles S. Dutton in "Halloween: H20," which began shooting Feb. 18. Curtis is reprising her role as Laurie Strode on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the release of the original. Hartnett plays her son. Steve Miner is directing "Halloween: H20" for Miramax/Dimension from a script written by Robert Zappia from a story by "Scream" scribe Kevin Williamson.

Images - Tom over at Tom's Cinema Page found a cool image of the upcoming Eddie Murphy - Jeff Goldblum flick "Holy Man" the other day. Also, 'Dandaman' who is currently running Dark Horizons, found a cool poster of the movie "Wild Things " today.
Practical Magic - Aidan Quinn has joined the cast of the supernatural comedy ''Practical Magic,'' which stars Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing. The project is about an extended family of women who come from a long line of witches. The younger members of the family use their magical powers to solve their romantic woes. Quinn's recent film credits include "Legends of the Fall,'' "Michael Collins,'' "Looking for Richard'' and "Commandments.''

Renegade Blade - The 21-year-old son of Steven Seagal is following in his father's footsteps by starring in a martial arts movie called "Renegade Blade." The project marks the first feature for Kentaro Seagal, whose showbiz experience to date has been as a Tommy Hilfiger clothing model. Seagal junior, a third degree black belt, will play a mysterious stranger educated in the ways of the samurai warrior. His character is enlisted to defend a commune of peaceful hippies against their maniacal, estranged leader. "Renegade Blade" will be directed by Steve Jankowski and produced by John Shepphird. Jankowski and Shepphird co-wrote the story. Shooting is slated to begin in late spring.
