Scream 3: Yet
another "script" has popped up, only this time
it might be a bit more believable since Kevin Williamson
recently started working on his "Scream 3"
script. Take a look, and judge for yourselves: Face Facts: Peter Bogdanovich is in talks to helm the feature "Face Facts" for Winchester Entertainment, with Stanley Tucci set to star. Phoebe Kates, Tony Shalhoub and Brooke Adams also have signed on for major roles in the picture that has a preliminary budget of $5 million. Lynn Adams scripted from her one-woman legit effort of the same name. Nobody Writes to the Colonel: Salma Hayek is set to join the cast of director Arturo Ripstein's "Nobody Writes to the Colonel," a Spanish-language feature based on the Gabriel Garcia Marquez book of the same name. "Colonel," also starring Spain's Marisa Paredes and veteran Mexican actor Fernando Lujan. Movie Trailers: Two new trailers this weekend. First a trailer for Van Damme upcoming film "Knock Off," and one for "Apt Pupil."
The Party Monster: Macaulay Culkin ("Home Alone") is set to star as a drug addicted teen who gets around the world wondering from club to club. No news on cast or targeted release date. Thanks to Craig for this info! Detox: Sylvester Stallone will play a traumatized police man who enters a rehabilitation clinic for help in ths movie. He then finds that the patients are begin killed one-by-one. He must try to find out a reason for the execution of the patients and must do so before his number's up. Thanks to Craig for this info!
Snake Eyes: Above is a copy of the long awaited "Snake Eyes" poster, though I'm not sure if it's an advance or a regular poster. Anyway, press the image for a slightly bigger version. Stuart Little: Hugh Laurie ("Peter's Friends") will star opposite Geena Davis in "Stuart Little," a film about a mouse born into a human family. Laurie will play Mr. Little, Stuart's father, in the film, which will be directed by Rob Minkoff and is slated for a Christmas 1999 release. Three Kings: Mark Wahlberg ("Boogie Nights") and Ice Cube are in final talks to star with George Clooney in the Gulf War drama "Three Kings." David O. Russell ("Flirting With Disaster") will direct the pic from a screenplay by John Ridley ("U-Turn"). Producers are Paul Witt, Tony Thomas and Chuck Roven. Dead Man On Campus: The official trailer for this upcoming MTV comedy has recently been released at the Official site.
Deep Blue Sea: LL Cool J and Michael Rapaport have joined the cast of "Deep Blue Sea'' for director Renny Harlin. LL Cool J will play Dudley, and Rapaport will portray Scoggins, two members of a team of scientists forced to battle genetically enhanced sharks off the coast of Baja California. American Pie: Linda Hamilton ("T2") has signed on to star in the independent coming-of-age feature "American Pie," along with actress Majandra Delfino and actor-director Eugene Levy. The film concerns a 15-year-old girl (Delfino) whose world is turned upside down when she learns her father has been having an affair. Hamilton and Levy will play her parents. Halloween: H20: Dimension Films' H20 Site has released the official trailer, click below to check it out.
Million Dollar Hotel: Jeremy Davies ("Saving Private Ryan") is set to star opposite Milla Jovovich in Wim Wenders' "Million Dollar Hotel." The $8 million picture, based on a story by U2 frontman Bono and scripted by Nicholas Klein - begins filming in January in Los Angeles. The Match: Propaganda Films has given a green light to the soccer comedy "The Match," with a cast headed by Max Beesley, Richard E. Grant, Tom Sizemore and Ian Holm. The low-budget project marks the directorial debut of former soccer coach Mick Davies, who wrote the screenplay about two Scottish pub soccer teams that agree to play each other to resolve a century-old grudge. Whoever wins the game gets to keep the other team's pub.

Across The Line: Martin Sheen will star in the upcoming indie film "Across The Line," a suspense thriller set on the Texas-Mexican border. The film focuses on a small-town sheriff who exposes a major drug scandal in the U.S. Border Patrol. Sheen will play a a compassionate diner owner and close friend of the sheriff who offers refuge and work to recently arrived immigrants, including a key witness in the case. Doomsday: James Marshall ("A Few Good Men") and Esai Morales have been cast for lead roles in the feature thriller "Doomsday." Written by Andrew Stein and to be directed by Bill Greenblatt, "Doomsday" is the story of a professor of infectious diseases (Morales) tracking down his berserk brother (Marshall) who is on the loose with a virus that could destroy humanity. Movie Trailers: Some new trailers today. First a trailer for "Very Bad Things" starring Jon Favreau, Cameron Diaz and Christian Slater. Also a trailer for "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" starring Larenz Tate and Halle Berry.
Angela's Ashes: Robert Carlyle ("The Full Monty") is expected to step into a feature adaptation of Frank McCourt's bestseller "Angela's Ashes." Carlyle is in talks to join Emily Watson in the film, to be directed by Alan Parker, about an impoverished and tragedy-plagued family in early 20th-century Ireland. Ballbusted: Sarah Silverman ("There's Something About Mary") has joined the cast of the comedy "Ballbusted" as the love interest of actor Norm Macdonald. The film stars Macdonald and Dave Chappelle as two buddies whose plot to kidnap the dog of Macdonald's rich employer goes awry. Smuggler's Moon: In this film, Brad Pitt ("Se7en") will possibly star as one of two real-life marijuana-smuggling-brothers. No word yet on a cast or release date. Thanks to Craig.
Antz: The great people over at Countdown have located the trailer for this upcoming animated feature. There's a lot of mirror sites, so one of them is bound to work, right?
The White River Kid: Beau Bridges is set to star in "The White River Kid," along with Antonio Banderas and Bob Hoskins, Randy Travis, Swoozie Kurtz, and Ellen Barkin. It's a comedy about two con men on the run (Banderas and Hoskins) who pose as monks on a divine mission to raise money for blind children. Arne Glimcher ("Mambo Kings") will direct. Takedown: Scott Cooper is set to join the cast of director Joe Chappelle's "Takedown." The film centers on the real-life story of computer hacker Kevin Mitnick (Skeet Ulrich). Based on New York Times writer John Markoff's book on Mitnick, the film will focus on how the hacker was tracked down by high-tech guru Tsutomu Shimomura, who will be played by Russell Wong ("The Joy Luck Club"). Cooper will play Nevin, a cellular phone company fraud analyst who tracks the calls made by Mitnick. Prince Of Egypt: Blue Thunder Movies have added a mirror location for the "Prince Of Egypt" teaser which was released a few days back on the same site.
Dairy Queens: Brittany Murphy ("Clueless") has joined the cast of "Dairy Queens" for director Michael Patrick Jann. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Denise Richards, Kirstie Alley and Ellen Barkin. "Queens" is a dark comedy about a Junior Miss pageant in a small Minnesota town. Murphy plays Lisa, an effervescent 17-year-old, who is the daughter of two uncaring parents who worship her older brother, a female impersonator. Virus: The director of "Virus," John Bruno was at the Wizard World Comic Con promoting Virus this weekend. He showed 20 minutes of it which supposedly looked great! He was upset that the movie got pushed back to a 1999 release date, and Jamie Lee Curtis cancelled her appearances for the same reason. Also, John Bruno stated that he had read James Cameron's Spiderman script and it was "BITCHING." Thanks to "Brillo." The Space Man: The Farrelly brothers ("There's Something About Mary" and "Kingpin") will make "The Space Man," a buddy comedy pitch by writer David Dorfman.
