Batman: The Joker's Revenge: The Batcave reports that the buzzed "Batman: The Joker's Revenge" script was penned by a first-time scribe by the name of I. More Info >>> Head Over Heels: China Chow ("The Big Hit") has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' romantic comedy "Head Over Heels" opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. and Monica Potter. The project is shooting in Canada. The Robert Simonds-produced film centers around a woman (Potter) attracted to a man (Prinze) she thinks may be a murderer. Chow will play Potter's bisexual colleague at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where both women work as art restorers. Mark Waters directs from a script by Ron Burch and David Kidd. The story was developed with "There's Something About Mary" co-writers Ed Decter and John Strauss, who are executive producing "Heels," according to THR. See Spot Run: Martin Lawrence ("Life") will receive $10 million to star in "See Spot Run,'' a Warner Bros. feature comedy greenlit for a January start. Lawrence will play a postal worker who takes in a stray dog that turns out to be a refugee from the witness protection program. The postman has the smarts and skills to turn it into a superpooch. The film will be directed by Dennie Gordon ("Ally McBeal") who's making her feature directorial debut. Producer Robert Simonds has brought in George Gallo to punch up the script by Alec Berg, Jeff Schaeffer and Dave Mandel and get it ready for the early 2000 start, Variety reports.

The World Is Not Enough: The Unofficial TWINE site has added an exclusive interview with stunt co-ordinator Simon Crane, who is currently completing production on 'The World Is Not Enough.' The interview, which was recorded earlier in the week, mostly concerns his job as stunt co-ordinator, plus his work on Bond 19, and can be listened to via audio samples. Speaking of Sex: John McNaughton is set to direct "Speaking of Sex" for Fox Searchlight and producer Rob Scheidlinger. The studio is looking at a fall start date. Scheidlinger worked with Fox Searchlight on the 1998 Jessica Lange-Elisabeth Shue starrer "Cousin Bette." Written by Gary Tieche, "Sex" is described as a modern-day sex farce that follows a couple having marital troubles. When they seek help from different therapists, the wife ends up having an affair with her therapist, causing unexpected consequences for all, according to THR. Unconditional Love: Rupert Everett is in final negotiations to star with Kathy Bates in New Line's "Unconditional Love" for a career-best payday of low seven figures. The film reteams Everett with director P.J. Hogan ("Muriel's Wedding"), who wrote the comic thriller with wife Jocelyn Moorehouse. Various minor/major spoilers are included. A huge thanks goes to 'Neo696.' Note: This script review has been confirmed fake, but I'll leave it up none the less for those interested in reading it just for fun.] Rush Hour 2 - A script review (Positive) The Crew: According to EW Online, Carrie-Anne Moss ("The Matrix") may join the mostly geriatric cast of the comedy "The Crew," playing a detective investigating a drug dealer's war against a retirement village whose residents he mistakenly think have wronged him. Richard Dreyfuss and Burt Reynolds costar as the geezers. Toy Story 2: The official site has just released a fun teaser trailer (only 810 KB in size). Click below to check it out: The Hollow Man: Elisabeth Shue suffered a serious injury when she tore her Achilles tendon while working out at a gym, significantly impacting shooting of her Columbia Pictures starrer "The Hollow Man." Insiders acknowledged it was possible that Shue might have to be replaced on the film, which is in its eighth week of production and has 16 weeks left to shoot. But sources said it was more likely that the shoot would be delayed slightly. In the film Shue plays a scientist working on a serum that renders people invisible. When another scientist tries the serum and becomes invisible, his colleagues have to find a way to bring him back to the normal world, according to THR. Editors Note: The notoriously hated video format 'DIVX' is (finally) dead! Read all about it over at the PRNewswire.
Scream 3: Less than a month before "Scream 3" was set to begin shooting, a behind-the-scenes drama played out between Dimension Films and screenwriter Kevin Williamson over the third chapter in the lucrative horror franchise. Although Williamson turned in a 30-page outline for the sequel, he has been so consumed by other Miramax projects - including postproduction on his feature directing debut, "Teaching Mrs. Tingle," due in August, and his upcoming television series "Wasteland" - that he found it hard to squeeze in time for "Scream 3." Dimension then recruited Ehren Kruger ("Arlington Road" and the upcoming "Reindeer Games") to draft a shooting script. Sources said that Williamson hasn't even read Kruger's script and is resisting further "Scream" work, citing his very full plate, according to THR. Dogma: Kevin Smith and Ben Affleck tell EW Online why they may burn in hell in a new article you can view right here. Movie Trailers: A trailer for the Claire Danes/Bill Pullman starrer "Brokedown Palace" and also one for the long-awaited film "The Fight Club" - which stars Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter.
Celebrity Deathmatch: Eric Fogel has been tapped to write, direct and produce a feature film version of MTV's claymation series "Celebrity Deathmatch" for MTV Films and Paramount Pictures. Fogel, who executive produces the show, has been expected to take on the feature version of the series, which pits clay versions of celebrities against each other in wrestling matches. Although there is no script for the feature yet, the project is said to be a top priority for the studio. The feature is expected to be plot-driven, much in the way "Beavis and Butt-head" was adapted to the big screen, THR reports. Editors Note: If you are a fan of the ultra-cool Bruce Campbell, why not sign the 'Bruce Campbell Star Wars Petition.' The goal of the site is to "draw attention to the great potential Bruce Campbell has to add to Star Wars: Episode II or III." At all interested in this 'crazy fanboy idea'? Click here to take a look.
