6 Days, 7 Nights Major League 3

Movie Posters - Above is a copy of the Official poster for the upcoming comedy "6 Days, 7 Nights." The image quality is not very good, but it's better than nothing, right? Next to it is a poster of the third Major League flick, "Back To The Minors." Enjoy!

The Shipping News - John Travolta reportedly has signed up to star in TriStar Pictures' adaptation of E. Annie Proulx's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Shipping News.'' The Hollywood Reporter says Travolta will play a New Yorker who moves to the coast of Newfoundland after the death of his unfaithful wife. He takes a job on a newspaper reporting on shipping news and tries to adjust to his new life. Travolta is already committed to Paramount's "The General's Daughter,'' in which he'll play an undercover detective investigating a murder.

True Crimes - Variety reports that James Woods and Diane Venora are in final talks to commit "True Crimes" for Clint Eastwood and Warner Bros., sources said Thursday. Pic, slated to start production in May, is based on Andrew Klavan's bestselling novel about a down-and-out journalist who interviews a death-row inmate only to discover new evidence. The journo has 26 hours to prove the prisoner's innocence.

Terminator 3? - Variety recently wrote this: "Carolco co-founders Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar have pushed their desks together once again -- and "Terminator 3" is set to be one of their first projects." Sure would have been nice to see another Terminator movie :-)

She's in line to star in "Animal Husbandry,'' the tale of a woman who ponders the meaning of relationships after getting dumped. Variety says producer Lynda Obst was interested in making her directorial debut on the film but that 20th Century Fox wanted someone with more experience. Aniston's next movie, "The Object of My Affection,'' opens April 17.

6 Days, 7 Nights - The trailer for this upcoming Harrison Ford - Anne Heche comedy is finally available for downloading. The link 'Dark Horizons' had didn't work for me, but I found a copy of it at the always faithful Akers Mic website. Enjoy!

Pure Evel - Variety reports that Matthew McConaughey is turning from bank robber to daredevil. McConaughey, star of "The Newton Boys," is near a deal to play motorcyclist Evel Knievel in "Pure Evel," the Universal biopic scripted by John Logan and to be directed by Marco Brambilla. McConaughey will also come aboard in a producing capacity.

Editors Note - I'll be closing down this site sometime tomorrow. Now worries, I'm just going to fix it up a little bit! I noticed Dark Horizons had a nice face-lift today, so I'm gonna do a little remolding here and there, and try to make the page look nice now that April soon starts. If you have any comments on what I should change, please let me know!

Note On Note: I won't be closing the site after all. I'll rather update one page at a time, and let the rest of the pages stay open.

One man discovers the truth and must rise through the society in order to put things right.

Toby's Story - Patricia Arquette will play the lead role in "Toby's Story," a supernatural thriller set to start shooting April 27. The MGM picture centers on a non-religious Boston woman who receives strange visitations that get increasingly out of control. The Vatican sends a priest to investigate the phenomenon. Rupert Wainwright ("Blank Check," "Dillinger") will direct from a script by Tom Lazarus and Rick Ramage.
