Very Bad Things: The Official poster for this upcoming dark comedy about a smashingly successful Las Vegas bachelor party, where something goes very wrong.. The Official Site is up, where you can check out film clips, play a Shockwave body parts game, and even download a stripper! Thanks to 'Sherri.' The Hollow Man: Jennifer Lopez ("Out of Sight") is in talks to join the cast of Columbia Pictures' thriller "The Hollow Man," directed by Paul Verhoeven. "Hollow" tells the story of a group of scientists who discover a way to make people invisible. Lopez is expected to play a team scientist and former lover of the group's megalomaniacal leader. No other cast members have been set. The film, written by Andrew Marlowe ("Air Force One"), will be produced by Douglas Wick's Red Wagon Prods. Runaway Bride: Chris Meloni ("Bound") has landed the coveted role of Julia Roberts' fiance in Paramount Pictures' "Runaway Bride," also starring Richard Gere. The Garry Marshall-directed feature is the story of a marriage-phobic woman (Roberts) who has thrice bolted the altar. Meloni plays her latest fiance, a sports enthusiast who believes she can reach her wedding goal through visualization. In Too Deep: Pam Grier ("Jackie Brown") has joined the cast of "In Too Deep,'' which is shooting in Toronto. The story of an undercover cop who gets lost after infiltrating a drug ring, the project also stars Omar Epps, LL Cool J and Stanley Tucci. Star Wars: Episode I

stern note from FOX executives: Movie Trailers: A Real Video trailer for "The Thin Red Line," starring John Travolta, George Clooney, Sean Penn and Woody Harrelson among others. Also a trailer for Rushmore.
The Beach: Tilda Swinton is set to play the second lead alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Beach." Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting") will take the helm of the Fox project, which is based on the Alex Garland novel. DiCaprio plays a rootless American who heads to Thailand with a map to paradise drawn by a madman. Swinton, the leader of a group he encounters on a beach, seduces the visitor and leads him on his journey. Moby Buck: Dan Aykroyd will star in $10 million indie comedy "Moby Buck," the feature directorial debut of Victor Pisano. Co-producing the film is Judith Pisano, widow of late comedian John Belushi. Set in Maine, "Moby Buck" is the story of a hunt for a mythical seven-point buck. No additional cast is set, but sources said many "Saturday Night Live" alumni are expected to join in. "Moby Buck" will be produced by Anthony Esposito, Marc Chesson and Sherry Joniff. Interlight Pictures will handle worldwide distribution.
Movie Posters: First off, the long awaited poster for Mel Gibson's upcoming film "Payback." Also an advance poster for the Christian Slater/Cameron Diaz starrer "Very Bad Things." Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace: I hope everyone managed to get a copy of the great trailer yesterday, if not, check out yesterday's update, the links should work better today. Also, the trailer should air on tonights edition of "Entertainment Tonight" and on "Access Hollywood" tomorrow (Friday). A Star Is Born: Will Smith is in talks to star in a remake of "A Star Is Born'' for Warner Bros., with the studio seeking to pair him with a major female singing star and add a new twist on the tale. The new version features a gender role reversal, with Smith as the young unknown who falls in love with a femme superstar. Her life is in danger as she lapses into substance abuse problems. WB is seeking a writer for the film, which will be produced by Jon Peters and James Lassiter. All the Rage: Josh Brolin as joined the ensemble cast of the indie feature "All the Rage" alongside Joan Allen, Gary Sinise, Anna Paquin, Jeff Daniels, Giovanni Ribisi, Andre Braugher and David Schwimmer. The dark comedy tackles the controversial issue of guns in America and follows 10 dysfunctional characters whose lives become intertwined because of the investigation of an accidental shooting. Tongue of a Bird: Sharon Lawrence ("NYPD Blue") has joined the cast of the Mark Taper Forum production "Tongue of a Bird." It's a five-character play written by Ellen McLaughlin and directed by Lisa Peterson. Lawrence joins Cherry Jones, Diane Venora, Marion Seldes and Ashley Johnson in the story of an ace pilot (Jones) who searches for her abducted 12-year-old daughter through the snowy mountains of Maine. Lawrence plays the pilot's mother, who appears as a ghost to guide her.
Star Wars: Episode I - TPM: Okay, the teaser trailer is online, but due to extreme traffic, it's very hard to get. What I recommend to do, is to get either Get Right or Filehound, check out our or Countdown's excellent mirror site list and just be patient, everyone should be able to get a copy eventually. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace: Above is a single shot of the trailer that will air in various theaters today, for more screenshots, check out JediNet or dEmension7, though be aware, as some of them could be considered as spoilers for those who wishes to be surprised by the trailer. Crowe Project: Brad Pitt ("Meet Joe Black") is in preliminary talks to star in director Cameron Crowe's next film, which will be for DreamWorks. As he has tended to do in the past, Crowe is keeping the project under a veil of secrecy, with only those closest to him having seen the unfinished screenplay. The project is the first under a three-year, first-look deal the filmmaker signed with DreamWorks in 1997. 50 Violins: Violinists Isaac Stern and Itzhak Perlman will play themselves in "50 Violins," which Wes Craven is currently directing in New York. The Miramax Films production is about schoolteacher Roberta Guaspari, who taught violin to inner-city children. Meryl Streep plays Guaspari. Also in the "50 Violins" cast are Angela Bassett, Aidan Quinn, Cloris Leachman, Jane Leeves, Kieran Culkin, Jay O. Sanders and singer Gloria Estefan in her first feature film role. Movie Trailers: A teaser for the upcoming Matthew Broderick/Rupert Everett starrer "Inspector Gadget." Also a teaser for "The Mod Squad," starring Claire Danes and Omar Epps. The Crowded Room: F. Gary Gray ("The Negotiator") has signed to direct "The Crowded Room," a real-life story that has been considered a hot movie project since 1988, when James Cameron was developing it. The Warner Bros. film follows the travails of William Milligan, who developed a multiple personality disorder after being abused as a child by a sadistic stepfather. While scribe Todd Graff has completed several drafts, there is neither a go screenplay nor a start date for the picture. The Green Mile: Gary Sinise ("Forrest Gump") has enlisted to do a minor cameo opposite Tom Hanks in "The Green Mile." Sinise supposedly did it as a favor to Hanks, the two also starred together in "Apollo 13." You Betta Watch Out: Mandalay Pictures has made a deal for Reginald Hudlin ("Boomerang") to direct "You Betta Watch Out," a comedy based on his own pitch, which is being fast-tracked for Christmas 1999. In Hudlin's holiday tale, a group of inner-city kids take Santa hostage. Kyle Baker is writing the script and Ruben Cannon is producing. All the Rage: David Schwimmer ("Friends") has joined the ensemble cast in the Jim Stern-directed "All the Rage,'' which stars Joan Allen, Gary Sinise, Jeff Daniels, Andre Braugher and Anna Paquin. The script's by Keith Reddin about a group brought together by an incident involving guns. Ash Shah, who's producing with Peter Gilbert, said they're hoping to add several other marquee names to the cast and might keep the picture independent and unattached to a distributor until it finishes shooting. Minority Report: Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise might team up on the sci-fi epic "Minority Report." Based on Jon Cohen's adaptation of a short story by Philip K. Dick ("Blade Runner"), Fox has been developing the thriller for several years, and at one time Jan De Bont had been attached to direct. De Bont still is attached to produce the picture. The futuristic story is about a top cop in the "Pre-crime Division'' who is fingered for a murder he has yet to commit, and he must solve his own case.
