My connection to Tobe Hooper has informed me that Tobe is in fact in negotiations to make Texas Chainsaw Massacre 5. Discussions are still undergoing as to whether or not he will direct, but the film will most likely be made and Tobe will probably be involved in one way or another. The 5th film will probably be called TCM25, for the 25th anniversary, much in the same vein as HALLOWEEN H20. Also, Tobe will be attending the Austin Film Society festival on October 30th, where im told Texas Chainsaw Massacre is to be shown. So that should be a nice event involving Mr Hooper and our favorite horror film. So stay tuned, ill post more info on both of these news stories as soon as i can!
