Tomb Raider - Script Review (Mixed) Die Hard IV: According to Cinescape Online, while attending the Toronto International Film Festival to promote "Breakfast of Champions," Bruce Willis revealed that he has signed on to do 'Die Hard 4' for a paycheck said to be in the $25 mill range. The Nutty Professor 2: Klumps: Janet Jackson recently signed on to star opposite Eddie Murphy in "The Nutty Professor 2: Klumps." Jackson plays Denise, a university professor who becomes the love interest of the portly but lovable professor Sherman Klump (Murphy). The story revolves around Denise's research becoming useful to Klump when his alter ego Buddy Love breaks loose and threatens their budding romance. "The fusion between Eddie Murphy and Janet Jackson is really exciting to me," Imagine co-chairman Brain Grazer said. Peter Segal will direct the film, which is slated to start shooting October 5th in Los Angeles, according to THR.

The Lord of the Rings: According to TheOneRing.net, Brian Sergent has been cast as Ted Sandyman. They also report that Ethan Hawke has stated himself that he will play Faramir. The Night Room: Variety reports that Mel Gibson's Icon Entertainment has signed scribes Rick Eid and Gavin Harris to adapt E.M. Goldman's novel "The Night Room.'' The scientific thriller is about a group of college students selected to be part of an experiment that enables them to see into the future. Their glimpse reveals that one of them has become a serial killer. Shadow of the Vampire: Lions Gate Films has picked up North American distribution rights to the supernatural thriller Shadow of the Vampire, Nicolas Cages producing debut. The film is a fictionalized account of acclaimed director F.W. Murnaus making of Nosferatu. John Malkovich plays the enigmatic Murnau, who is prepared to test societys limits in his quest for authenticity. Willem Dafoe is Max Schreck, the actor who played Nosferatu in Murnaus film. Proof of Life: Taylor Hackford ("The Devil's Advocate") is set to direct the action-adventure love story "Proof of Life" for Castle Rock Entertainment. The character-driven project was written by Tony Gilroy ("Dolores Claiborne"). "Proof" tells the story of a hostage negotiator who falls in love with the wife of the man he is hired to save. Hackford will also produce the project, which has a February start date - according to The Hollywood Reporter. Star Wars: Episode II: The Sunday Mirror Online reports that Leonardo DiCaprio is set to cash in £25 million if he stars in the next 'Star Wars' film (as Anakin Skywalker).
