Prince of Central Park: Danny Aiello, Cathy Moriarty, Paul Sorvino have joined Kathleen Turner in the cast of the family picture "Prince of Central Park." The film concerns a young boy - played by young newcomer Frankie - who runs away from an abusive foster home and takes up residence in the famed Gotham glade. John Leekley will helm. Stir Of Echoes: Liza Weil ("Whatever") has signed to star opposite Kevin Bacon in "Stir of Echoes.'' She will play Debbie, the baby-sitter of a telekinetic kid whose murdered sister is haunting the house. Screenwriter David Koepp ("Snake Eyes") will direct the independent project from his own script. Mad Max IV: Universal Pictures plans to release a fourth installment of the action-adventure series in time for a summer release in either 2001 or 2002. It's not yet sure if Mel Gibson will return. "Mad Max IV" will be produced and directed by George Miller. The project is expected to be filmed in Australia. George Miller has written a story for the picture and will oversee development of a script, but will not necessarily write it himself. Wayne's World 3?: 'Pax' reports that Dana Carvey has singed on for the third installment in the popular series. Mike Myers is supposedly not yet sure if he will reprise his role. The film is set to open summer 2000. Thanks again to 'Pax.' Freddy Vs Jason: Rumors has it that Lisa Wilcox ("Nightmare 4 & 5"), Healther Langencamp ("Nightmare 1, 3 & 7"), Adrienne King ("Friday the 13th: 1 & 2") and Corey Feldman ("Friday the 13th: 4 & 5") are set to star opposite Kane Hodder {Jason} and Robert Englund {Freddy}. Once again, thanks to 'Pax.'
Passion of Mind: Stellan Skarsgård ("Ronin") and William Fichtner ("Heat") will each play leading men opposite Demi Moore in "Passion of Mind." The pair play the men in Moore's separate but parallel lives, with Skarsgard a French novelist and Fichtner a New York accountant. Moore's character tries to resolve her seemingly simultaneous lives as a widowed American mother living in the South of France and a single, successful Gotham book editor. Peter Riegert may star as Moore's psychologist. Alain Berliner ("Ma Vie en Rose") will direct the drama from a script by Ron Bass ("My Best Friend's Wedding"). Gladiator: Variety reports that Russell Crowe ("L.A. Confidential") is near a deal to play a Roman general in "Gladiator," an epic on the scale of "Ben-Hur'' and "Spartacus." Ridley Scott is set to direct the project, which carries a budget north of $80 million. The film will be financed by DreamWorks, with Universal as a possible partner. Crowe's character is Julius Caesar's most fearsome and respected warrior. When the leader falls ill, he designates the general to succeed him. Caesar's son, however, has other plans. He strips the general of his stripes and family and banishes him. The general becomes part of the world of gladiators, where fight-to-the-death battles are framed around the pageantry of a Roman circus atmosphere. The warrior battles his way to a final fight that will lead him to a match - and a chance for revenge - against the man who banished him. The script, originated by David Franzoni ("Amistad"), is now being worked on by John Logan ("RKO 281.")

Heather Graham ("Lost in Space") will replace Elizabeth Hurley as Powers' love interest. Jay Roach will return as director. Success: Cameron Diaz ("There's Something About Mary") is close to a deal to team with Meryl Streep in "Success'' for producer Scott Rudin and Paramount Pictures. The drama concerns an "All About Eve''-style mentor/protege relationship between two female TV network executives. Movie Trailers: The trailer for "The Siege" has finally arrived. This thriller stars Bruce Willis, Annette Bening and Denzel Washington. Also trailers for the upcoming Brad Pitt film "Meet Joe Black" and finally one for the low-budget film "Belly."

Rochon plays Lulu, who helps Sedgwick's character hide her pregnancy from her family and ex-boyfriend (Morrow) until the last possible moment. The action takes place in the 12 hours leading up to the delivery, when Sedgwick's family, Morrow and his family descend upon the hospital. Filming starts this fall.
